Actor Hiten Tejwani who rose to fame after starring in Ekta Kapoor's hit drama, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is one of the renowned actors in the entertainment industry. He has done some notable roles in the daily soaps like Kutumb, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, Kaahin Kissii Roz. He even was the lead in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Pavitra Rishta. Hiten also played a small role in Karan Johar's magnum opus Kalank as Ahmed. Well, Hiten who has been in the industry for almost 2 decades, recently revealed that he still gives auditions for the roles despite being an acclaimed actor. In his latest interview, he revealed that there's nothing wrong in auditioning for the particular role.
"The thing is, people have seen me in a particular role, and they want to see me in the role they want to offer… to see if I can look that part, it’s equally important and ok. There’s nothing wrong in that. And I want to tell this to all the actors with all due respect, that if you are a good actor, you shouldn't think that you won’t audition,. That’s my belief," he told ETimes. He even said that TV is a challenging platform and he loves it.
"TV is challenging and I love challenges. In TV, I don’t know what I am going to shoot today. Everything is on the spot. I read and shoot on the spot so there is a lot of spontaneity. Films are more comfortable because you know the start and end. You know your scenes in advance and you can prepare accordingly. There’s no rush. I love my work and give my 100% everywhere," he told the portal.
Hiten Tejwani is currently playing Shiv in Star Bharat's Gupta Brothers. He will be next seen in Amazon Prime original Tandav also starring Saif Ali Khan, Gauahar Khan, Sunil Grover, Kritika Kamra, Dimple Kapadia.
